Hi Alan,

Thank you for contacting us.

I am happy to hear that you are interested in the Texas Power Switch! I can assist you in completing your registration.

Registration should take no longer than 5 minutes. We ask that you have a recent electricity bill handy because a lot of the information you will need is on your bill. You will need to provide the following information:

1. Your current electricity provider

2. Your monthly electricity usage (if you don’t know the exact amount, you may select small, medium, or large usage household)

3. Whether you are currently in a contract and if so, when it expires.

The most important detail is whether you are under contract, so that we know if a switch could potentially result in an early termination fee from your current provider.

Once you have completed your registration, no further action will be required until you receive your personal offer.

I understand that you are interested in when our next scheme will take place. The next auction will take place on January 17, 2023. You will receive your personal offer by January 31, 2023. You will have until February 22, 2023, to decide if you would like to accept your offer.

After that, we'll take care of the whole switch for you!
